Book Synopsis Positioning, Navigation, and Robot Motion Planning in GPS Denied Environments by : Chinmaya V. Kaji
Book excerpt: This thesis focuses on the development of navigational and positioning algorithms for autonomous vehicles in multiple challenging environments. Fundamentally we concentrate on advancing navigation algorithms for GPS-denied underwater environments. Specifically, we apply the following machine learning algorithms: feedforward neural networks (FFNN), and cascaded feedforward neural networks (CFNN).
