Book excerpt: Ben Nevis is a sophomore engineering student at Iowa State with a bad girlfriend and a new, very odd roommate. “Sway” doesn’t seem to have much of a personal history or a firm grasp on modern life, but he talks about World War I as if he fought in it. As they begin living together in a cozy dorm room, weird attacks surround them and even weirder feelings grow between them.
