Fracking and the Rhetoric of Place

Book excerpt: Fracking and the Rhetoric of Place investigates the rhetorical strategies of speakers at public hearings on hydraulic fracturing (“fracking”) in order to understand how places shape and are shaped by citizens as they engage in their democracy.
